What this boat is

The Pearl 73 is a 21.99-metre flybridge motor yacht introduced in 2026 as the successor to the Pearl 72. Its four-cabin arrangement combines a privately accessed forward suite with a second, full-beam master amidships, making it relevant to families and owners who regularly cruise with another couple. An aft galley, expandable cockpit and substantial toy garage place outdoor entertaining and watersports at the centre of the layout.

The model in detail

The Pearl 73 develops the Pearl 72 platform rather than introducing an entirely different yacht. The project was unveiled at boot Düsseldorf on 18 January 2026, with its on-water world debut following at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2026. British builder Pearl Yachts retained Dixon Yacht Design for exterior styling and naval architecture, alongside Kelly Hoppen Interiors. Sharper exterior detailing and enlarged glazing distinguish the newer model, while the new Monochrome interior combines grey, off-white and charcoal finishes with rounded cabinetry and layered textures.

Accommodation comprises four en-suite guest cabins for eight people. The forward master suite has its own entrance, separating it from the remaining accommodation. A second master occupies the full beam amidships, supplemented by a double guest cabin and a twin. The twin cabin’s bathroom also serves as the day head through an additional passageway entrance. Separate aft crew accommodation provides two berths and a bathroom, with access from the side deck and an internal door to the machinery space.

The main-deck redesign moves the galley aft, directly between the cockpit and saloon. Forward of the living area, the lower helm sits beneath Pearl’s characteristic double windscreen, accompanied by a dinette; a side-deck access door is optional. The cockpit’s optional folding balconies are positioned at main-deck level, unlike the lower bathing-platform extensions of the Pearl 72. Adjustable cockpit tables and movable backrests allow the seating area to change between dining, lounging and sunbathing arrangements.

Above, the flybridge combines an upper helm, dining and lounge seating with a side-positioned bar and open deck space aft. An optional hardtop incorporates a tilting and sliding sunroof. The foredeck adds sofas and sunpads, with optional Bimini shading. At the stern, a hydraulic bathing platform serves a garage designed to accommodate both a Williams 345 tender and a personal watercraft, keeping this equipment off the exterior decks when stowed.

Construction is GRP, with a beam of 5.75 metres and a draught of 1.70 metres. Standard propulsion consists of two MAN V12 diesels producing 1,400 hp each; twin 1,550 hp V12s are optional. Published launch specifications give approximately 32 knots maximum with the higher-output installation, a 25-knot cruising speed and around 250 nautical miles of range. Fuel capacity is 4,340 litres and freshwater capacity is 950 litres. These are published performance figures rather than results from an independent Pearl 73 sea trial.

Standard equipment includes Garmin navigation electronics, a Kohler generator, a bow thruster and Humphree interceptors. Available upgrades include a Seakeeper SK18 gyro stabiliser, hydraulic thrusters, a passerelle and enhanced air conditioning. The tender garage reduces space for movement within the engine room, while the crew stairway is steep. The accommodation supports either experienced owner-operation or a small professional crew, and the speed, outdoor spaces and tankage suit coastal and island cruising. The model carries a five-year builder’s warranty.
