What this boat is
The Absolute Navetta 50 is a 14.95-metre flybridge motor yacht designed around owner-operation, three-cabin accommodation and flexible outdoor living. Introduced as part of Absolute’s Generation 2026, it combines an aft galley, panoramic saloon glazing and a forward owner’s suite with twin Volvo Penta IPS propulsion. Its layout targets couples and families seeking independent cruising, while a separate single crew cabin provides the option of onboard assistance.
The model in detail
The Navetta 50 is the entry point to Absolute’s Navetta range, measuring 14.95 metres overall with a 4.67-metre beam. Built in Podenzano, near Piacenza in Italy, it has naval architecture, exterior styling and interior design by Absolute. Its hull and superstructure are GRP composite, with public listings describing a semi-displacement hull. The builder specifies CE Category B and a maximum onboard capacity of 14 people, distinct from its overnight accommodation.
The main deck places the galley aft, where it serves both the cockpit and interior seating area. Full-height saloon windows, light-toned woods and large opening glass doors connect the enclosed living space with the exterior. The lower helm is positioned to starboard, with a side access door giving the operator a direct route to the side deck during docking. Circulation routes and protected side passages are central to the owner-operated brief.
Below deck, three guest cabins provide six berths. The forward owner’s suite has a diagonally positioned double bed, large hull windows, a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower. A double VIP cabin occupies the amidships area, while the third guest cabin has twin beds. Published configurations identify two guest bathrooms and a separate single crew cabin aft with its own toilet and washbasin, bringing the total to three heads when that cabin is fitted.
Outdoor accommodation extends across the bow, cockpit and flybridge. The cockpit uses movable furniture rather than a permanently fixed seating arrangement, allowing the deck to be reorganised. Above, the flybridge has a continuous, step-free floor, an upper helm, dining space and sunbathing accommodation. The advertised wet-bar arrangement includes refrigeration, an ice maker and a barbecue. Further sunbathing space is provided forward, reached by side decks with handrails, bulwarks and integrated lighting.
Propulsion is by two Volvo Penta D6-IPS650 diesel pod-drive installations, with joystick manoeuvring. Fuel capacity is 1,800 litres, while freshwater capacity is 530 litres including the water heater. One public new-boat listing quotes an 18-knot cruising speed and 26-knot maximum; these are advertised figures rather than independently verified test results. Equipment offered on publicly advertised configurations includes a Seakeeper 6 gyroscopic stabiliser, a hydraulic bathing platform rated for 400 kilograms, a retractable gangway, air conditioning and a fibreglass hardtop.
Announced in December 2025 under the Calypso designation, the model entered production in 2026. Absolute presented it privately at Varazze in May 2026 ahead of its Cannes world premiere that September, alongside the new Navetta 58 and 66. The accommodation and handling arrangements support family cruising without permanent professional crew, while the separate aft cabin permits a skipper to stay aboard when required.
Frequent questions
No shipyard- or press-announced base price was verified; public new-boat asking prices include approximately €1.45 million to €1.55 million, with equipment and tax treatment requiring individual confirmation. As of October 16, 2026, the consulted listings showed new stock or order boats, but no verified pre-owned examples from which to establish a resale range.
It uses twin Volvo Penta D6-IPS650 diesel pod drives and carries 1,800 litres of fuel. A public new-boat listing advertises 18 knots cruising and 26 knots maximum, but no independently verified range or fuel-consumption curve was found.
Three guest cabins accommodate six overnight guests: a forward double owner’s suite, an amidships double VIP and a twin cabin. Published configurations show two guest bathrooms plus a separate single crew cabin with its own toilet and washbasin; the maximum onboard capacity is 14 people.
Absolute designed the model for owner-operation, with joystick manoeuvring, a starboard helm access door and direct circulation to the side decks. A separate single crew cabin provides accommodation if the owner chooses to carry a skipper or crew member.
Absolute builds it at its shipyard in Podenzano, near Piacenza, Italy. Naval architecture, exterior design and interior design are handled in-house by Absolute, and the hull and superstructure are GRP composite.
Publicly advertised configurations include a Seakeeper 6 gyroscopic stabiliser and a hydraulic bathing platform with a stated lifting capacity of 400 kilograms. These are configuration-dependent features, so their inclusion should be checked against the individual boat’s specification.
