What this boat is
The Sealine F430 is a 13.55-metre flybridge motor yacht combining an enclosed saloon with outdoor seating on three levels. Introduced in 2018, it offers two- or three-cabin accommodation and Volvo Penta IPS propulsion. Its flexible sleeping arrangements, sheltered cockpit and separate upper helm make it particularly relevant to families and couples seeking a boat for coastal holidays rather than a permanently crewed yacht.
The model in detail
Introduced in 2018, the F430 belongs to the generation of Sealine motor yachts developed under HanseYachts ownership. Bill Dixon designed its exterior, while Sealine developed the interior. Production takes place in Greifswald, Germany. The F430 followed the C430 coupé, presented in 2017, adding an upper helm and outdoor living deck; its British debut took place at Southampton in September 2018.
The planing hull and superstructure are built in glass-reinforced plastic. Overall length is 13.55 metres, beam is 4.20 metres and published full-load draught is 1.25 metres. Height above the waterline is listed as 5.37 metres. Tankage comprises 1,100 litres of diesel and 450 litres of fresh water, with a published black-water capacity of 170 litres.
On the main deck, the galley sits aft, serving both the enclosed saloon and cockpit through the opening glazed partition. BOOTE's original test describes a U-shaped galley with substantial underfloor storage and a saloon seating arrangement that can incorporate the rotating helm bench. Large windows surround this living area, while the cockpit benefits from shelter beneath the flybridge overhang.
Accommodation is not restricted to the two-cabin arrangement shown in the broker's tour. Sealine offers six lower-deck layouts encompassing two or three cabins and two bathrooms. The two-cabin alternative allows a full-beam owner's suite amidships; three-cabin versions provide six permanent sleeping places. Interior choices include leather upholstery, slate wall panels and high-gloss furniture finishes, depending on the selected specification.
The flybridge measures approximately 14 square metres and combines its helm with seating, dining and sunbathing areas. A wet bar and grill support outdoor meals, while the foredeck provides another sun lounge. Available equipment includes a cockpit cooking station and a hydraulically lowering bathing platform with extending steps. These features should be checked individually, since advertised boats do not all share the same equipment inventory.
The original propulsion choices included twin Volvo Penta IPS500 installations, rated at 380 hp per engine, and an IPS600 alternative. Later examples also appear with twin 480 hp installations. Published model figures give approximately 25 knots cruising and up to 32 knots maximum, but those figures should not be assumed for every engine package. The IPS designation identifies a propulsion package rather than the engine's horsepower.
The F430's enclosed lower helm and open upper station accommodate different weather conditions. BOOTE tested it on the Baltic and identified the flybridge arrangement as suitable for Mediterranean use. Three-cabin examples have also operated in Croatian bareboat fleets, demonstrating an owner-operated cruising role without dedicated crew accommodation. Buyers comparing model years should distinguish layout, engine package and fitted options rather than assume a separate generation or uniform specification.

Frequent questions
The broker's tour published on 13 June 2021 quoted a starting price of €500,000 excluding options and VAT; no qualifying dated shipyard or press announcement was established for the new-price field. The researched sample contains ten distinct pre-owned boats, approximately €459,000–€698,000 with a median of €624,000, using portal-displayed currency conversions and removing apparent duplicate advertisements. These are asking prices, with differing tax status and equipment.
Published model specifications quote approximately 25 knots cruising and 32 knots maximum, depending on engines, loading and conditions. A maximum range of 320 nautical miles is listed at 8 knots, not at planing cruising speed.
The F430 is available with two cabins for four overnight guests or three cabins for six, with two bathrooms. Sealine lists six lower-deck arrangements, including a two-cabin configuration with an owner's cabin amidships.
The F430 has been offered for bareboat charter, and published accommodation details show no dedicated crew cabin. It is therefore used as an owner-operated yacht, although the skipper's qualifications and competence must match the cruising area and operating conditions.
It is built in Greifswald, Germany, by Sealine within the HanseYachts group. Bill Dixon is responsible for the design of this generation of Sealine motor yachts, combining the brand's British origins with German production.
No: early specifications offered Volvo Penta IPS500 and IPS600 packages, while later advertised examples include twin 480 hp installations. IPS500 does not mean 500 hp per engine; the specified twin-380 hp installation produces 760 hp in total, so buyers should verify the actual engine plates and build specification.
