What this boat is
The Sunseeker 65 Sport Yacht combines a low sports-cruiser profile with an open upper driving station and three-cabin accommodation. Its adjustable SkyHelm, joystick-controlled Volvo IPS propulsion and adaptable stern leisure area make it particularly relevant to buyers who prioritise driving and water access without giving up a full-beam owner's suite or separate crew accommodation.
The model in detail
Introduced in 2021 among Sunseeker's five simultaneous new-model launches, the 65 Sport Yacht is a British-built sportsbridge design associated with the builder's Poole operation. Sunseeker is credited with the design. Measuring 20.50 metres overall with a 5.10-metre beam, it combines an enclosed main saloon with a deliberately low upper deck rather than a conventional full-height flybridge.
Its signature feature is the SkyHelm: two low-set seats separated by a central control console, with an adjustable steering arrangement and IPS docking joystick. The wheel can be raised for low-speed manoeuvring or lowered for seated driving. Carbon-fibre seat backs, stainless-steel detailing and dark hull glazing are defining elements; Sunseeker also describes extensive carbon-fibre use to reduce weight within the yacht's composite construction.
The main deck places the galley aft, beside the connection between saloon and cockpit, while the bow provides another seating and sunbathing area. Below, the usual arrangement comprises a full-beam master amidships, a forward VIP double and a twin guest cabin, each with bathroom access. The builder's plans also show alternatives for the area ahead of the master, including a desk, seating, utility installation or additional single cabin. Separate accommodation for one crew member sits ahead of the garage.
Propulsion choices are twin Volvo Penta IPS1200 installations rated at 900 PS each or IPS1350 installations rated at 1,000 PS each, both using pod drives. Sunseeker quotes up to 35 knots and up to 750 nautical miles at 10 knots. A 2021 independent test with IPS1350s recorded 34.5 knots, approximately 200 litres per hour at 20 knots and a quoted cruising range of 280 nautical miles at that speed. Fuel capacity is 3,500 litres.
The GRP hull is a planing design; published displacement is approximately 37.8 tonnes and draught is 1.60 metres. The stern garage accommodates a Williams 345 jet tender, with room for additional watersports equipment. Alternatively, carrying the tender on the bathing platform releases the garage for an optional beach-club arrangement incorporating seating, a bar, refrigeration and a barbecue. A hydraulic bathing platform provides water-level access.
Specification matters more than model year alone: documented equipment includes a Seakeeper 16 gyro, upgraded air conditioning and alternative generator installations, rather than a single universal inventory. The model remains documented in Sunseeker's 2025 brochure; the current Predator 65 SportFly page presents the same principal dimensions and IPS choices under different branding. For ownership, the separate crew berth permits professional support, while joystick docking and both indoor and outdoor helms remain central operating features.

Frequent questions
Motor Boat & Yachting reported a starting price of £2.48 million including VAT in November 2021. Four distinct current pre-owned listings were confirmed on 16 October 2026, with asking prices equivalent to approximately €1.911 million–€2.250 million and a median of €2.111 million, using the ECB rate of USD 1.1253 per EUR; these are asking prices with differing tax statuses, not completed-sale values.
Sunseeker quotes a maximum of 35 knots and up to 750 nautical miles at 10 knots. An IPS1350-powered boat tested in 2021 achieved 34.5 knots, with a reported range of 280 nautical miles at 20 knots.
The normal layout has three guest cabins for six people: a full-beam master, forward VIP double and twin cabin. Sunseeker also published a fourth-cabin option, with its brochure stating accommodation for up to seven guests plus one crew member.
A separate single crew cabin is provided forward of the tender garage. This confirms accommodation for one crew member, rather than establishing a mandatory crewing requirement.
It is a British Sunseeker model associated with the company's Poole shipyards in Dorset, England. The contemporary boat test credits Sunseeker with the design, and the model formed part of the builder's five-model launch in 2021.
The 2021 IPS1350 boat test reported approximately 200 litres per hour at 20 knots, equivalent to about 10 litres per nautical mile. The fuel tank holds 3,500 litres; actual consumption depends on loading, hull condition, sea conditions and speed.
